Gerald Roache
A proud graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Advertising, Gerald J. Roache discovered his passion for storytelling early in life. His writing journey began in college and quickly evolved into a professional career, marked by his first published work—an advertisement for National Liberty Life Insurance Company.
Gerald went on to hold senior positions at several prestigious Madison Avenue advertising agencies before opening his own firm. There he wrote the most successful commercial in the history of television — a groundbreaking campaign that shattered sales records and showcased his remarkable creativity.
In addition to his work in advertising, Gerald has ventured into children’s literature. He is the author of a delightful story about a lovable dog named Shamus, written to spark giggles and inspire young readers. Known for uncovering the unique “twist” in every story, Gerald brings a fresh and imaginative perspective to all his writing.
Drawing inspiration from his life experiences, baseball, jazz, and literary greats like Ernest Hemingway, Gerald’s work invites readers to laugh, think, and see the world through new eyes.
